TORONTO (December 19, 2024) – Crave confirmed today a Season 2 order for its original comedy series, THE OFFICE MOVERS, which is set to go into production in 2025. Ranking as one of Crave’s Top 20 titles during its release weeks*, the announcement comes on the heels of a successful first season which concluded with the Saunders brothers (Jae and Trey Richards) making a big decision regarding an offer from moving company giant Zenithon, leaving them to ponder their next move.
“THE OFFICE MOVERS is a hit. This hilarious show struck a chord with audiences, who connect with the characters and the relatable experience of trying to get through the workday without a catastrophe,” said Justin Stockman, Vice President, Content Development and Programming, Bell Media. “Its success is a testament to Jae and Trey's storytelling prowess and Crave’s dedication to showcasing uniquely Canadian stories with universal appeal. We look forward to building on the momentum from Season 1 and continuing to collaborate with Jae, Trey, and Counterfeit Pictures, to watch THE OFFICE MOVERS story unfold.”
Created by and starring Canadian comedians and brother duo, Jae and Trey Richards, THE OFFICE MOVERS follows two brothers navigating the chaotic world of Toronto's commercial office moving industry. Season 1 featured a talented ensemble cast of digital creators and comedians including Jack Innanen, Lucas Lopez, Noel Miller, Hassan Phills, Jesse Sebastiani, and WatswithAndy, and a cameo by fan favourite character Tyco.
On social media, THE OFFICE MOVERS generated millions of views and impressions across social and digital platforms. Season 1 is available for streaming on Crave, and additional behind-the-scenes content can be found on Crave’s YouTube page, and on @CraveCanada and @TheOfficeMovers.
